PBX Features

Web Based Management

We include the user friendly  management system Asterisk Management Portal. (4) All you need is a standard web browser on any computer in your internal network.

You can view the real-time status of each extension, queue, and line.

Calls can be searched based on several criteria including date/time and caller ID.

Details of each call can be viewed with the duration, source, and starting time.  The call volume details are also available by minutes, hours, days, or months.

Call Queue

Setup multiple call queues ( waiting lines).

Customized greeting prompts with caller ID prefix (display) to the answering agent.  The queue is directed to preselected group of extensions. The associated group can be rang all at once, least recent, fewest calls, randomly, or one at a time in order. The calls will be forwarded to another destination when you specify the maximum callers and wait time in queue.

Caller position and hold time can be announced to the caller to keep them informed of their status in the queue.

Each queue can be set to play a different “music on hold” selection.

Auto Attendant

Like your own 24/7 receptionist it will answer  the phone, direct calls, and take messages for everyone in your business.

You can configure multiple attendants and route the incoming calls based on time of day.

Use the complete set of pre installed voice prompts or   make your own customized  prompts. A menu with choices of 1 through 9 can be configured for each auto attendant.

Call Transfer

Calls can be transferred between offices just as easily as between local extensions.

Call Groups

Configure several extensions with similar job function together in multiple call groups.

A custom caller ID prefix makes it easy to identify which call group the caller is in.  The call is then forwarded to a preset destination if no extension answers the incoming call.

Interactive Directory

The directory lists each voice mail box owner and can be searched by first name or last name.

Perfect for when the caller doesn’t know the extension of the person they are trying to reach.

Music On Hold/Transfer

You can create your own selection of music or prerecorded dialog in the popular MP3 format. Hold/Transfer music can be played  in  random or linear order.  Each menu and queue can be set to a different play list.

Call Recording

Allows you to keep a complete archive of all calls.

You can preselect to record specific conversation or all phone calls. (2

The recording is saved in WAV format. The recording consumes about 1 Megabyte per minute. (1)

Call Monitoring

Keep up with your representative’s performance! You can listen to any ongoing call and monitor with or without their knowledge. (2)

Call Line Identification

Each incoming line and extension can have a custom caller ID (display)  This allows you to know who is calling or where the call is coming from.

Call Routing

Calls can be routed to a preset destination (voice mail, extension, etc.); block long distance calls; prevent a specific number from calling all together.

The incoming calls are routed based on their caller ID  Blocked (or Private) caller IDs can be prompted to input their number or forward directly to voice mail!

Phone Extensions

With the Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) phones you  can add as many extension as you need for your business without expensive licensing. The only cost to you is the additional hardware such as phone(s).

Just like your computer, each VoIP phone connects through Ethernet.  You can even turn your PC into a phone using software.

Voice Messaging

The recording time is only limited by the amount of hard drive space on the server.

Up to a 100 messages can be kept in each configured mailbox.

The messages in each voice mail box can be forwarded to your E-mail address and/or pager notification.

Fax Receive / Transmit

No longer will you need a separate line for faxing!  The PBX phone system will automatically receive or direct incoming faxes to a specific line.

Faxes can be saved on the server, or E-mailed to a preset E-mail address (Fax to E-mail),  or received by a stand alone fax machine.

You can send faxes with additional software for your PC. (5)

Remote Trunks

Multiple servers can be linked together and calls can be routed between them. For instance sever at site can route calls over a broadband internet connection to a server located at site. Never get charged for a long distance phone call again!

Incoming Phone Lines

The server can internally support up to 16 incoming analog phone lines.

Optionally you can connect an ISDN, PXS Phone bank, or T1 line to meet your phone line needs. (3)

Call Park

Allows you to place a caller on hold, then call can then be picked up from any extension.

Billing Support

Each line and extension can be assigned a billing code to better track the time used on the phones.
